Susan Boyle, an unassuming 48 year old virgin from an unassuming Scottish Village sprang onto the big lights of Britain’s Got Talent Stage and blew Simon Cowell away, earning herself a standing ovation from the crowd as well as the judges.
Susan Boyle from Blackburn - West Lothian told the Britain’s Got Talent Geordie hosts Ant and Dec that she’s “never had a boyfriend” and she has “never been kissed” before she gyrated onto the stage telling the judges that she wanted to “rock the crowd”.

The judges and audience couldn’t stop their laughter when Susan Boyle said her ambition was to “be a professional singer like Elaine Page.” However their laughter was soon short lived when Susan wowed the audience with her rendition of I Dreamed a Dream from the musical Les Miserables. Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden both had to fight back the tears of what was an awe inspiring performance.
We cannot fail to notice the similarities between Susan and Paul Potts, a former car phone salesmen who, after winning Britain’s Got Talent 2007, went on to sell a staggering 15 million albums world wide.
Susan who lives alone with her 10 year old cat Pebbles was dubbed “a tiger” by music mogul Simon Cowell who said that Susan’s performance was remarkable. Susan, a lover of the royal family herself is tipped as hot favourite to win the talent show and perform in front of the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance.
