Wow, I have sent the utube link to everyone I know. You made my heart happy! Good luck to you.
I have listened to you tube 15 or more times, just cannot get enough of that performance. The judges shocked and pleased faces added to the moment. You are already a super-star and I agree with the comment I read, you should be pulled from the competition there won’t be anyone who can compare to your performance. you should go straight to the top. My favorite song, from my favorite musical performed more than over the top. You thrilled us!.
Susan, It was such a privlege to hear your beautiful voice… it gave me goosebumps and brought tears to my eyes. Your story is precious… how you have selflessly cared for your mother all these years until her passing…blessing her with your love and giving heart. Now the Lord’s blessings will return to you, which you so much deserve. You are TRULY a special woman with a strong, humble spirit which is so beautiful…to match your incredible voice. I wish you all the best as you begin this exciting new journey, knowing your mom is so VERY proud of her beautiful angel, Susan. I can’t wait until you release your first record, as I am eager to hear more from you. Your singing touches my heart and gives me hope. All the best, Catherine from Wisconsin, USA
Susan has a wonderful voice and a great ability to connect emotionally with her audience. She puts all the other plastic, over-processed female singers to shame. Good luck Susan! We need you!
Susan Boyle in one incredible performance creates world wide tears of joy.
In a world now full of fear, apprehension, dissatisfaction and mistrust, Susan Boyle proved in a few magic moments that sincerity and honest goodness still exists. In a few notes of a song she swept away our lamentable cynicism and reminded us that we still have hearts and that we still care. We wept at her performance for many reasons, not least because by her very presence Miss Boyle had allowed us, if only briefly, to find ourselves and the compassion in our hearts that the modern world leads us to hide.
Much has been written about Susan Boyle’s arresting personality, her sense of fun and humour, her honest openness and modest dignity. But what of her extraordinary performance? Extraordinary because of her being a self taught amateur singer. Susan Boyle chose to sing a song that would challenge an experienced professional singer for its demanding controlled power alone. “I Dreamed a Dream” was skilfully written by the very talented Andrew Lloyd Webber as a show stopper for “Les Miserables”, the longest running show ever.
As soon as the jollity’s of the interview with the judges ended Susan Boyle noticeably switched into a professional persona. Without the ingratiating introduction of an MC, or the theatre of a stage setting or dramatic lighting, she moved to a bare and full lit centre stage, and with professional directness cued for her backing music. The dramatic descending the scale adagio introduction of Lloyd Webber’s orchestral arrangement flowed in and those remarkable first notes were sung with all the power needed for the introductory verses but no more, thus allowing for the great build up of power at the end of the middle eight, leading to a lifting key change for the grandiso height of the compositiont. This was Susan Boyle’s second big moment which she handled to perfection.
Her audience fully lifted, and with the quality of a profesional, star Susan Boyle then responded to the unquestionable connection with a house of four thousand people and opened up, her communication was mesmerising, something quite rare. Next came the difficult verse calling for a degree of agitato intensity before smoothly winding down for a dramatic ending of pathos and constrained passion. Susan Boyle had won her audience, their hearts and their emotions, which she acknowledged with all grace and modesty, but her act was not finished until she had walked from the stage with all the elegance and composure of a star performer. It could not be said that a star was born at that moment for Susan Boyle was born a star long ago.
There is a rare quality in some human voices, albeit very few that reach our emotions, Susan Boyle has it, but she also has with it an honest modesty that most people are too afraid to show. Right now the world needs Susan Boyle and her magic and enchantment in the face of the harsh realities of today, and the world has responded in its expressed gratitude. There now exists a confident expectation, great numbers such as “You’ll Never Walk Alone”,and “The Impossible Dream”? We shall see. Whether by accident or design, who knows, the people have found Susan Boyle who stirs their emotions and lifts their hearts, now they must look after her.

Susan Boyle you brought tears to our eyes when we saw your performance. Absolutely amazing. Keep rockin those audiences !!
Hi susan
You have a wonderful voice,I had tears in my eyes when you sang.
I’m proud to be Scottish knowing we have got talent like yours out there.
Good Luck and I hope I will be able to buy your album in the shops one day.
Susan, you seem really down to earth! You seem natural and full of confidence.
It is funny when you went on stage and you could clearly see that the judges and the audience were really not expecting anything so impressive to come from you.
I think when you appeared on Britain’s Got Talent you proved to a lot of people that you had a talent nobody expected. In the first few seconds you opened your mouth to sing, pretty much the entire world shut theirs. There is not many people that can say they can do that!
I hope you win!
Susan!
Never have I listened so many times to a performer sing! Can’t get enough of your beautiful voice!
Thought it was wonderful the way the judges and the audience responded to you instantly the moment you began to sing!
Please don’t change - we love you as you are! Continued good luck! You have proven that it is never too late for one to achieve one’s dream! - Your song was well chosen - you have achieved your dream!

Amazing. Why am I still crying every time i see this. Good luck. xx
You sat everyone on their backsides with that performance. I’d love to be at the front of the queque for your first cd. You have absolutely nothing left to prove to anyone.
I really have not been a follower of Britains Got Talent but after seeing News reports on TV i will be following it now. I would love to see you Susan go from strength to strength with such a powerful voice if the performance you gave of the cuff so to speak i can only imagine what you really are capable of. You have my vote and i wish you well and please give us more of that voice of yours to ring in my ears. Love to Peebles and to you.
You Got The Talent and you have been found Thank God for That.
Havind listened to the show version of the song, whilst good, Susan being the 432 nd person to audition in Glasgow, with no chaufer driven delivery, no dressing room, no warm up area, was better. Unfortunatly for all the imposters, she has the presence of Edith Piaf, the delivery of Shirley Bassey and the timing of Frank Sinatra with the God given perfect pitch of an Angel, the best i have ever seen including the afore mentioned
Susan, you were truly amazing. You have the most beautiful voice, but most of all you have warmth, character and are an inspiration. I am sure that your dreams are all about to come true. Looking forward to your first CD coming out so that I can listen to you regularly. Go girl - show the world what a wee Scots girl can do.
The world has been waiting for another female singing great and I think we’ve got her now. Susan, you are just supreme. I have rarely, in my 48 years, heard anyone sing as well as you do. I, myself, love Shirley Bassey and Katherine Jenkins and can’t hear enough of them singing and I just know that I wouldn’t tire of hearing you now either. The best new female singer I have heard for a long time. I’m no expert, but you are up there with the best.
Susan, I knew you could sing and I know what a lovely person you are. I was so proud of you when I saw you on Saturday night and I know you will go FAR. I meant it when I said I’d go to London with you when you said you’d no one to go with but I guess you wont have any problems finding someone now. Just don’t let anyone change you!! Everyone in Blackburn is routing for you Susan.
lots of love Elaine
Susan, you have an astonishing voice: such a gift! Do remain the lovely, gentle, soul you clearly are! You’re a dazzling talent!
